My inspiration for the day
I am in constant awe with nature. Overtime I look out the window I am amazed at what I see. Today I watched a group of birds fly freely though the trees. They sat in a group on one tree and then seemed to take turns flying off the tree, swooping around and coming back to that same tree.
Life should be a play like this, carefree and fun, just enjoying the moment. So much of our time on this earth is spent with our mind distracted by so many things, worry, fear, etc. Playing and living in the moment makes us free, like the birds.

More new stuff
I'm feeling the creative flow and I have made a ton of new pieces. I will upload them to the website in the next couple days. Heres a quick preview of one.
I hope everyone is enjoying their day today.
A little experimentation
Tonight I worked on letting things go and just letting the pen flow and following wherever it wanted to take me. I was reminded of why I enjoyed drawing so much in the first place. It's nice to ignore the inner critic and just let things flow naturally.
Freeflow party
I am really enjoying embracing abstract free flowing forms.
New Year, New Work
I hope everyone is enjoying the new year. It's hard to believe that we are almost through with the first month already. A lot has been happening in my life lately and it has led me to some new inspiration and some new challenges. I recently completed a cross country move, which has caused me set my art aside for a period of time. The new year has brought new energy with it that has helped me to focus once again. I have been getting back in touch with an old friend, block printing. It has caused me to be more open with my work and to let things flow more freely.
Quick update about my absence.
I've been behind on posting things here and I apologize for that. I had to cancel my planned show because I am saving money to move back to New York at the end of august. I am still working on new pieces which hopefully I will be able to post soon.
My girlfriend and I are taking a road trip across the USA for the move and I will post updates along the way.
Inspiration for the day
"He has no power
He achieves nothing, he has no reputation
Since he judges no one,
No one judges him.
Such is the perfect man-
his boat is empty."

My inspiration for the day. Try not to be anything, Just flow with Tao.
Inspiration
Inspiration comes from everywhere. Keep your mind clear and open and things will flow towards you. Get out and find beauty in the parts of the world you wouldn't expect to find it.
Beauty is everywhere. Inspiration is everywhere.

Redwood Regional Park Adventure
Today I headed out in search of inspiration, and I found it at Redwood Regional Park in Oakland.
I spent the day traveling through the beautiful mystery that is nature. You can't help but look at the trees, and listen to the whisper of the wind and not be inspired.
inspiration is truly all around. Even beneath our feet.
