On top of the other 2 paintings I'm working on, I started on a new palm painting.

Redwood bark paintings
spending some time working on new projects for my one with nature series.
I found a bunch of redwood bark in my area to paint on. It felt great to be around the trees and to hold nature in my hands. There is so much energy that radiates from trees. I'm blessed to have the chance to work directly with them and to feed off that energy in my art.
Painting progress
Last night I was working on a painting. I'm painting with acrylics, watercolor, and ink on palm bark.
one with nature series
I am currently working on a new series which will be featured in the collaborative show with photographer Rachel Escobar. It will be called "One With Nature" and be a series of paintings on natural objects. The series is meant to illustrate that spirit is one with nature.
